Elizabeth keeps pace with all press technologies as they evolve including the more recent application of replaceable die segments. A segmented die table is an alternative approach to the traditional upper punch – die – lower punch combination per turret station. Elizabeth offers a variety of materials (e.g. 440C, D2, etc.) to match the die segment to the given press application. Furthermore, Elizabeth offers single and double-tapered, as well as tungsten-carbide lined die cavities for the most abrasive applications, to maximize die segment useful life.
