A patented sealed feed system, which includes special vacuum ports in front of each feed shoe, eliminates the possibility of cross-contamination and ensures ultra-clean tablet layer demarcation. A special cam design allows for first layer fill, first layer tamping, second layer fill, second layer tamping, third layer fill, pre-compression and main compression.
This three-layer tableting press is available with 45 stations to accommodate
1.500" O.D. dies, 55 stations for 1.187" O.D. dies or 71 stations
for .945 O.D. dies.
This Hata Three Layer press is the ideal choice for pharmaceutical
manufacturers who require flexibility for the development of layered
tablets. This press can also be converted for core-coating tablet

Instead of the traditional third feed shoe on the Hata 3-Layer Press, the Hata Core-Tableting System features an innovative mechanical assembly which uses a custom designed feeding apparatus and inverter wheel to orient the cores and deliver them to the press system.
The unique alignment mechanism leads to precision core feeding for both round or shaped tablets.
